Aqua city, Venus Fort, and Rainbow Bridge.  While they may sound like the settings for a new big battle of 21st century superheroes, they are in reality just three of the attractions which have made Tokyo’s Odaiba one of the town’s most frequented destinations. 

Odaiba stands on 2 of six islands which the Togukawa shogunate built and fortified to protect Tokyo bay from Western intrusion, which arrived in the person of Commodore Matthew Perry in 1853.  It received its name from the japanese word ‘daiba,’ for fort.  When Japan experienced its big commercial boom in the early 1980s, the third and sixth of the fortified islands were extended, and named Tokyo Teleport Town for the ultramodern business town which was to be constructed on them. 

The industrial boom went bust {, however ,} and in the 1990s, new plans allowing Odaiba to be commercially developed saw it quickly inhabited by the entertainment and commercial enterprises which make it such a massive draw today.  Among Odiaba’s most electrifying attractions are the reproduction of France’s Statue of freedom wtching over its Aqua town shopping mall ; Venus Fort, another shopping center designed to seem like eighteenth-century Venice ; and Oedo Onsen Monogatari, an Edo-period style showering park built around a 1400-metre deep hot spring. 

The Odiaba Kaihin Park, near the Rainbow Bridge and the possessor of one of Tokyo’s two sand beaches, is a fave spot for romantic assignations, but swimming in Tokyo’s less-than-pristine bay isn’t suggested.  For the technically inclined, Odaiba has the Miraikan, Japan’s Museum of developing Science and innovation, the Fuji television Building, and the Toyota Mega Web. 

Accessing Odaiba from either the Rainbow Bridge or the Yurikamome elevated train will afford visitors some splendid perspectives of Tokyo Bay. 

The park-like grounds and personal waterfront balconies of the five-star Odaiba Nikko Hotel, the first built on Odaiba, offer visitors an escape from the bustle of Tokyo with its.  The Odaiba Nikko is an ideal spot for romantic getaways.

The Kyoto Fu peninsula is a small peninsula that makes a great getaway.  to reach this peninsula you need to drive from Kumihama to Mineyama, Omiya and Miyazu.  On the south of Omiya there is a small shrine that too is religiously and traditionally quite important. 

The Wakasa Wan ( Bay ) is another brilliant getaway.  The Wakasa wan national Park is reasonably popular here. 

The Obama Bay that stretches to the Oshima spur is also a brilliant getaway.  Similarly the Tsunegami Hanto cape that has Rocky Mountains is also worth visiting. 

you can also go to see the Tojimbo Cliffs.  These are located on a point of the Echi-zen Kaigan ( coast ) state Park.  It is a well-liked traveller attraction because of its exotic beauty.  If you visit here do not forget to go to the tiny fishing hamlet, Anto nearby. 

The Central Mountains of Honshu Island are a big lure to visitors.  This island has a collection of various mountains known as Central Alps.  It’s a great delight and lifetime chance to see these legendary ice-capped mountains. 

The Shiwaku Shoto Islands are a group of islands near Oakayama which has many little collections of islands in the Inland Sea.  Hon-Jima and Mukkuchi-Jima islands make desirous getaways.

Japanese food and culture

Japan has simply become synonymous with the’Land of Enchantment’ and, although it’s a modern and technologically-savvy society, it is not without its culture, beauty and history.  That’s the reason why guided tours of Japan are so popular for couples and families alike.

Extending along the eastern coast of Asia, Japan is a country composed of a collection of islands.  The mainland, as we think of it, is the island of Honshu.  There are three other huge islands, Hokkaido, Shikoku, and Kyushu, and approximately 3,000 much smaller islands comprising what we call Japan.  Put together, the total land mass is slightly smaller than California.  The geography throughout the islands is mountainous, best exemplified by Mt.  Fuji at 12,385 feet.  As you might expect, the island country is intrinsically recognition of a volcanic are and Japan experiences earthquakes reasonably frequently, some on a massive scale.

In 1937, Japan became a supporter of nazi German.  This eventually led on to its decision to chase an attack on Pearl bay on December seven, 1941.  Following four years of war, the loss of 3 million Japanese lives and two atomic bombings, Japan surrendered to the US on Sep two, 1945.  It was stripped of the majority of its territorial holdings and was ruled de facto by General Douglas MacArthur, delegated the supreme chief. 

Following WW2, Japan turned to a democratic system thru reforms.  The U.S.  And allies returned total control to Japan on Apr twenty-eight, 1952 through the bargain of Peace.  Though its days as a military power were over, Japan once again became an economic giant.  Despite its comparatively miniscule land mass, Japan has the second largest economy in the world. 

present day Japan covers 145,902 square miles.  The capital is Tokyo.  The terrain is best described as rough, mountainous islands with varying temperatures. 

The people of Japan are called’Japanese.’ The total population is just over 127.4 million folk, but the population is decreasing slightly in size.  Eastern is the basically language spoken and literacy rates are ninety nine %.  Eastern males have a life expectancy of 77 years while women live to 84 normally. 

With its mountainous island landscape, Japan is a hot destination spot for travelers.  It is dear, but a trip to Mount Fuji alone makes a trip worthwhile.

Jap gardening is much different to the Western style garden.  Most would say that a jap garden is much more soul relaxing and impresses meditation.  Japanese gardening is a cultural type of gardening that is designed to produce a scene that mimics nature as much as practical.  Using trees, shrubs, rocks, sand, artificial hills, pools, and running water the garden becomes an art form.  The Zen and Shinto practices are both a giant part of japanese gardening and, because of this ; the gardens have a contemplative and reflective mental condition. 

The basic systems of views in are a reduced scale, symbolization, and borrowed perspectives.  The reduced scale is the art of taking a tangible scene from nature, mountains, streams, trees, and reproducing it on a smaller scale.  Symbolization involves generalization and abstraction.  An example of this would be using white sand to suggest the ocean.  Borrowed perspectives refer to artists that would use something like an ocean or a forest as a background, but it would end up becoming a crucial part of the scene. 

There are two sorts of jap gardening.  The tsukiyami garden is a hill garden and typically composed from hills and ponds.  The hiraniwa, which is the precise opposite of the tsukiyami garden, is a flat without any hills or pools.
